Petal & Peel is a candle concept built around unexpected botanical scent pairings and illustration-led packaging. For Pear + Tulip, the identity combines the softness of florals with the freshness of fruit, creating a visual direction that feels romantic and elevated without leaning too heavily into traditional natural or rustic candle branding.
Design Approach
Custom pear and tulip illustrations become the foundation of the packaging system, extending across the carton, candle, and supporting brand pieces. A soft lavender palette gives the product a distinctive shelf presence while allowing the botanical artwork to remain the focal point. The repeating imagery creates continuity across the system without making every surface feel identical.
